The man said, "Officer Chen, I just don’t understand—if I haven’t done anything, why do you care if I speak English or not? What’s wrong with not knowing anything and going on a trip? Is that against the law too?"
Chen Long said, "Because from the moment you came in here, you have been lying in response to every question we asked."
The man said, "I haven’t lied, Officer Chen, how do you know I’m lying?"
Chen Long said, "You’re not someone good at lying, any slightly experienced officer can see that."
The man chuckled, "So what exactly does Officer Chen want?"
Chen Long said, "I want you to tell the truth, it’s that simple."
The man said, "And if I refuse?"
Chen Long coldly said, "You better listen carefully, this is no joke—this is a matter of life and death. You must answer my questions honestly!"
The man shrugged, "Sorry, officers, I have nothing to say, and I haven’t done anything wrong—you shouldn’t be detaining me."
As he spoke, the man tried to leave.
Chen Long, however, blocked him and said, "If you don’t cooperate with the investigation, then you can’t leave here until the plane lands. Once we reach our destination, I will formally detain you."
Upon hearing that Chen Long intended to keep him here, the man’s complexion changed again, a flash of ruthlessness appeared in his eyes, and suddenly, the man punched towards Chen Long’s face.
Chen Long hadn’t expected the guy to suddenly attack, but fortunately, he reacted quickly and tilted his head to dodge.
However, the man was quite a tough fighter, missing with one punch, he followed up with another, and the two of them started brawling in the cramped lounge, leaving a mess behind.

The flight attendant said, "I don’t think he’ll wake up for a while, we’ve been away from our seats too long. Plus, Officer Chen, your injury is not minor, why not return to your seat to rest first, and we’ll interrogate him after he wakes up."

Chen Long responded in English, "Nothing to worry about, please sit down."
After reassuring the young white man, the two of them returned to the surveillance room.
The flight attendant was now monitoring the surveillance, per Chen Long’s instructions, as Chen Long wanted to know the reactions of the other passengers after the man was taken away by the flight attendant.
Chen Long asked, "Any unusual occurrences?"
The flight attendant shook her head, apologizing, "Nothing so far, though there’s a chance I missed something with so many cameras to monitor alone."
Chen Long smiled and said, "You’re doing great."
The flight attendant said, "Officer Chen, go get some rest, I’m responsible for first-class, and she and I will keep an eye on that man. We’ll notify you if anything happens."
Chen Long nodded and then returned to his seat.
When he left, Lin Fan was asleep. When he returned, Lin Fan was already awake. Chen Long tried to act normal, not wanting Lin Fan to notice his injury.
Unexpectedly, Lin Fan immediately noticed he was injured, and it turned out Lin Fan was a doctor. By now, Chen Long was starting to see Lin Fan in a new light, though he hadn’t realized that Lin Fan would eventually save his life.
