Chapter 2042 - 2031: Smash It Flat
Chapter 2042 - 2031: Smash It Flat
Upon hearing this, Ning Fan glanced at the driver, having a hunch that the bearded man was the one following them today."After all, after tonight, he'll be a dead man."
Ning Fan withdrew his gaze, looking out the car window, "Seems like we're heading to the outskirts."
The scar-faced man chuckled, "The air is nice in the outskirts. Our boss has an estate here."
"You're right, the outskirts are indeed a good place."
Noticing Ning Fan's eerie smile, the scar-faced man, who was about to say something, inexplicably felt uneasy as if his body lacked strength.
"Probably over-exerted myself yesterday."
Recalling last night's indulgence, the scar-faced man shook his head, shaking off the illusion.
About forty minutes later, the vehicle entered an estate with a garden.
Vast and sparsely populated, this was the only villa within miles.
"Truly a good place."
Getting out of the car, Ning Fan took a deep breath; indeed, the air in the outskirts was fresher than in the city.
The whole time, the scar-faced man's confusion hadn't ceased.
In the dead of night, being invited here at gunpoint, to a place where crying for help would be in vain.
Logically, this man and woman should be terrified and uneasy.
Yet, the reality was quite the opposite.
The woman not only didn't cry or make a fuss but remained expressionless and silent throughout.
Even more outrageous was this man, casually acting as if they were really here for a countryside trip.
Gone was the fear and panic the scar-faced man expected to see.
Recalling the scene when inviting them, he suddenly felt that the process had gone a bit too smoothly.
"Could they really be the boss's friends?"
The scar-faced man was ordered to politely invite them back, without resorting to violence unless necessary.
Such things had happened before.
Those "invited" were all friends of the boss, just some business misunderstandings.
If they were real enemies, they wouldn't even make it to this place.
"It must be that way."
The scar-faced man affirmed with a nod, though not one to rely on brains, he felt it was quite exceptional to think this far.
At this moment, Ning Fan suddenly asked, "Are you leaving tonight?"
The scar-faced man instinctively responded, "We're staying here overnight."
"That's good."
Ning Fan surveyed the entire estate, noting there were a total of twenty-five people.
Of which eleven were the scar-faced man and his subordinates.
"As long as I kill all these people, no one will know I've been here."
With that thought, Ning Fan decided their fate.
The scar-faced man courteously said, "Let's go. The boss is waiting inside."
Without needing a reminder, Ning Fan had already spotted Fabio's bald head and those sinister eyes.
"Let's go then."
The iron gates of the estate clanged shut, as if turning the estate into a prison.
Upon entering, Ning Fan saw Fabio exhaling clouds of smoke.
"Little brother, you're here."
Fabio greeted with a warm smile, then his expression abruptly darkened as he coldly remarked, "You have no idea how much I've missed you."
"Is that so? What an unfortunate turn for me."
Fabio paused, then sneered, "You're right, this is indeed the start of misfortune."
His gaze shifted to Vivian, swallowing hard, Fabio said, "My little lamb, I've finally waited for you."
"This bug is so disgusting."
Vivian turned and asked, "Can I swat it?"
"You can!"
Ning Fan praised, "As long as you obey, you can have anything you want."
Vivian, always so obedient, enduring the provocation of pests.
If Ning Fan hadn't warned in advance, Vivian might have made a move when they got in the car.
If jewelry could exchange for an obedient Evil Dragon, Ning Fan thought it a fair trade.
Though he could activate a "mental switch," using the Light of Life's backlash to make Vivian obedient.
But forcing it wouldn't have the voluntary effect.
Though they had misunderstandings, they bore no deep-seated vendettas.
Continuous pressure might backfire, deepening their conflict.
Hence, unless absolutely necessary, Ning Fan wouldn't use backlash to control her.
"Did you just say you want to swat me?"
As if hearing the funniest joke, Fabio laughed until tears flowed. Just as he was about to speak more, he felt his body lighten, then lost consciousness.
Watching the suddenly vanished Fabio, the scar-faced man was puzzled, when he heard a bang.
Following the sound, the scar-faced man gaped, standing frozen.
A smudge of flesh and blood appeared on the smooth white wall,
Red, white, and black mixed together like an abstract painting.
Noticing the black fabric stuck on the wall, the color matching Fabio's clothes,
The scar-faced man rubbed his eyes, dumbfounded, "What happened?"
"Nothing much. Just like you thought, your boss turned into a pulp."
Saying this, Ning Fan's lips twitched, casting an eerie glance at Vivian.
He didn't expect that in her human form, Vivian had such monstrous strength, casually swatting like a fly, sending a man over ninety kilograms flying.
The collision with the wall made Fabio a pulp of flesh.
"So disgusting. You're not allowed to act next time."
Ning Fan shook his head in disgust, then said to the scar-faced man, "It's your turn now."
The scar-faced man asked blankly, "My turn for what?"
"To die, of course."
Ning Fan's right hand darted to the scar-faced man's neck like lightning.
With a crack, the scar-faced man collapsed, tilting his neck.
On the way here, Ning Fan thought of torturing the scar-faced man, but the sudden scene left him uninterested.
"Finish this quickly. Leave here."
This was Ning Fan's current top priority.
"Stay here and don't move."
Giving an order, Ning Fan disappeared like a phantom.
Throughout the estate, the crisp sound of cracking echoed continuously.
The estate seemed to be Fabio's secret hideout, with no gardeners or maids, just guards, so Ning Fan showed no mercy.
In less than half an hour, all thirty people had their necks broken and died.
In the face of Ning Fan's phantom-like speed, they didn't even know how they died, let alone counterattacked, thus not a single gunshot was heard.
When Ning Fan returned to the living room, he saw Vivian running around,
Crystals chandeliers, gilded decorations, Jade Artifacts, and so on, all became her looting targets.
"They say serious men are the most charming, but I find focused women just as captivating."
At this moment, Vivian was no longer that expressionless poker face, instead, she was a radiant young girl with a vibrant smile.
Her graceful figure fluttered like a butterfly, scattering bell-like laughter across the hall.
